What Our Customers Say...

  • We bought a new bed base for our brass bed which had become creaky.  Lots of help and advice on measuring and suitability from Dan over the phone. I felt confident to order and he gave us the contact for delivery, which was quick and efficient. Within one week, the well fitting base was in place and we have no more problems, extremely pleased.

  • Phil has now delivered our bed, thank you for recommending him. My husband has seen the bed (I'm away at the moment), and he says it is just wonderful. Thank you so much for your excellent work on it! Wishing you a very happy Christmas!

  • I am absolutely thrilled with the goods and service I have received from The Victorian Brass Bedstead Company. This well established family run business offers both excellence in products and a prompt professional and friendly service. As an Architectural Designer I will certainly be recommending them to my clients here in the South Downs National Park. Pauline Sutton
  • We have been buying beds from Toria and her father before her for over twenty years now.  They have a brilliant selection, give expert advice and are a pleasure to deal with.  Dan can also alter old beds so that they are turned into king or super-king size without it being possible to tell that they didn't start out like that.  We have some really beautiful examples of old bedsteads from the Victorian Brass Bedstead Company and are so pleased to be able to give them a new lease of life. • Wow Dan. Are you sure that’s my bed? It looks great. That bed means a lot to me. As I never tire of telling people it was my grandparents bed. My grandad died in it and my father was born in it. When I was small I used to sneak into the bed for a cuddle with my gran. Thanks so much for restoring it. It last looked that good 100 years ago.
